A friend of mine invited me for her evening wedding reception which is only a week away. I have been reading a couple of threads and searching online, but still confused about my dress. It’s a formal wedding, but I want to create a good impression. Wondering what colors are appropriate for an evening wedding? Should I wear a floor-length evening gown or a cocktail outfit?

Your inputs will be helpful.

Thanks..

Today most of the cosplay costumes that are liked by people are usually from different movies same is the case with Thor Movie.

Many people around the world now wear movie cosplay costumes at different parties and places to represent their unique personality. They love to play the roles they love the most in virtual movies and video games. They do so by wearing the same costumes as worn by the characters in that movie or video game.

In the past movie cosplay costumes of different super hit movies such as spider man, super man, batman, fabulous 4 and other science fiction movies has been in demand. Now the many movie cosplay costume loving fans are looking to find the costumes of the Hollywood upcoming Thor movie. Many star actors are a part of this super hero based film. In Thor movie the superhero is shown as a powerful but a very arrogant warrior. He is sent to Earth as a punishment from his world. This story turns him into a hero as a villain of his world sends a dark force to Earth to destroy the mankind and invade Earth. He helps the Earth and saves the mankind from that villain. There are many other characters in this movie whose movie cosplay costumes are getting the attention of the fans and they are easily available at different online shopping websites such as http://www.milano.com.

Other characters of the Thor movie are also can be found exciting to many people. A character like “Loki” who is playing the role of adaptive brother of the Thor in the movie is also a strong character. He is not as powerful as Thor. He is shown as a primary villain in the movie. “Oddi” another powerful character of the movie is the ruler of the planet Asgard and the father of Thor and adoptive father of Loki. He has given an interesting role in the movie as he is in a midpoint between life and death preventing the “Surtur” a villain from reentering into his world. “Sif” is the leading female character in the movie which has special powers such as cure the peoples from different diseases. She is shown as the childhood friend of Thor and Loki in the movie. In the movie she has come very close to marrying Thor but due to some undiscovered reasons it just didn’t happened.
As in smart clothes not fancy dress!

When was the last time you dressed up and is it something you do regularly?..
I miss that about living here people are so relaxed they never dress up Ive seen people here go to a wedding in their clogs!

I dressed up to go to a gig earlier this year and last year for another gig before that it was for a summer BBQ (which I hate) and when we arrived everyone else was in jeans and Tshirts..

I miss the dress code which prevents people turning up at nice restaurant looking as if they’ve just finished the gardening or going to a club looking like they’ve just mucked out the horses..

Do the places you go to still have dress codes or am I being really old fashioned?
Is it too much to ask to expect people to wash and change into decent clothes before going out for the evening?

Ive been in a nesting mood all week.. Ive told OH I might be pregnant ...he choked..
Only kidding.. I think its the weather.

The nights are getting colder and darker Ive put away the bright vases that I had on the mantle and Ive bought out the little lanterns, re-stocked on candles, changed the cream throw on the sofa for a dark red chenille one and Ive tested and changed light bulbs..

Ive been in the garden too, trimming the plants, folded up the chairs, taken down the parasol washed it and put that in the loft..

Im craving all the winter foods too.. lots of casserole’s and stews, dumplings and thick gravy..Ive made sure the coco powder is in the cupboard hot chocolate with whipped cream on a cold day ...lovely.

People here tend to do this a lot, they change the window dressing and ornaments to suit the season So where you see flowering plants on summer window sills now there are vases filled with (fake ) autumn leaves and pine cones or conkers, little tableaux of squirrels and toadstools and lantern’s.
Its quite nice really..

So do any of you do anything like this I never noticed it when I lived in England people there always had the same decor and ornaments the whole year round..
But I wonder if its a recent thing or is it typically Dutch?

I recently got my hair colored and loved what my colorist did!!!

I have a really sensitive scalp and normally when I go get colored it is not a pleasant experience. When my colorist was applying it and after, when I had to let it sit, I was surprised that there wasn’t that irritation and funny smell. My colorist told me she was using a newer product. It was L’Oréal Professionnel INOA.

She said the INOA stands for INNOVATION NO AMMONIA. That’s why there was no odor.

My hair was shiny and super soft when she was done and I love the color!!!

I normally don’t boost about something so much, but I really can’t say enough about it!!

I went online and found what other salons carry it: http://www.findinoa.com

If anyone else has ever used it let me know what you think!
If you haven’t used it, I would check it out http://www.inoa-us.com

Im at that stage ...Im sorting through my wardrobe thinking´about the summer and I got to wondering about this years fashion..

Not that I really ever did follow fashion but I wondered about what was new..
http://www.vogue.co.uk/fashion/trends/2010-spring-summer/091008-springsummer-2010-trend-report.aspx#

I wish I hadn´t bothered ! Ive seen better dressed tramps..
Really what do these shows have to do with real people?

Who goes round in corsets and suspenders except maybe the obvious !!!

It seems that frills, big prints and ruches are going to be ´in´ this year..
