Going back to school

I really love learning and was wondering if anyone else here is taking a course or a class in their spare time and what caught your interest, to learn a new skill or begin a career in that area or something else?

I started a course in September to learn how to use a program called AutoCAD 2009 as I wanted to learn how to make 3D models out of plans on a computer. Hopefully I may be able to find work in that area too when I am finished.

Just found this site and thought it sounded really good, areal chance to gather useful info or help some one else. I am a permently stressed out mother of 4 18, 15 13 and 12 and live in yorkshire we have one pet a ginger cat who rules the roost along with the kids lol. No ever told me how hard being a parent is !!!!

Child bus passes

Should ALL children have free bus passes ? Many of them are as big as an adult. Children who HAVE to travel to school could have a special permit , as when my children were at school.I see children getting on buses to travel just one stop There are several schools in this area ,yet a large number of children travel to/ from school because it offers a particular method they prefer. I know it is good to be able to choose the school that suits a child best, but as Councils struggle to pay for travel permits is it fair that ALL children should be able to travel free ? If a Parent wants their child to travel to a distant school is it fair that the cost of transport should come from tax payers ?I know many senior citizens have free travel, but most of them have paid their taxes & not all use their passes, preferring to use their cars

Has anyone heard the shocking news about Dr Singleton? I read about it on one of the dyslexia boards I post at. He was found with about 2000 images of child porn on his PC. Ironically enough, a couple days back I was reading one of his articles and thinking how well he writes and with such clarity.

I’m a mother of 3 girls 16 y.o, 14 y.o & 11 y.o.. i have many problems with my sweetie t Sara the youngest. Firstly she is little ashamed of her body. I heard little young men in her school calling fatty girl, camel toe, beef can, and things like that. I’m very sad for her. I talked with her a lot about her body and changes that happened to her during puberty . I think this fats is just changes not making her obese .her length is 60 and weight 170 pounds. I’m really upset as our relationship suffers a lot. The most thing make me sad when she said: I hate you.. I don’t know how a daughter can hate her mommy. My other two daughters never said such thing. I love her too much and I want her to be comfortable with me but she don’t help me to do that. last week we(sara , Sandra &me;) was in the major bus station .it was a rush hour and streets almost closed so I suggested to leave my car in a near parking. And take the bus from the station. As we waiting for the bus we want . she started to complain as she wanted to pee. I take her to the public bathroom at the station ,but I found it closed(why I don’t know). I told her to hold her self a little while we go to grandma But she refused and become very annoying I don’t know what to do. I get her behind one buses and told her to uncloth and pee. She refused . I shouted in her and from this moment it wasn’t me. shyly she raised her skirt and lowered panties and started to pee . here I flew into rage as I found that her panties totally wet as she peed on herself . I order her to stop peeing and stand up . she refused again and cant hold a second to take off her panties. I forcibly made her to stand up and pulled down her panties and make her step out of it. Again while she step out from her panties she cant hold peeing . she gave a pee on her skirit. I fed up with her so I lifted up her skirit and sterted to gave her few slaps on butt. She started to crying . I was in another world . I think she was crying because of slaps. But she moan :mommy, every one gaze on me. I looked back I found that the bus that we were hiding goes. And my sweetie was fully exposed to public spanked and urine leaking from her. I put her panties in my bag and stand her up and vanish….
Because of this accident she is refusing to talk to me . I see I wasn’t wrong. And what could I do either than what I did? I see it verywhere on here commonly from the UK ladies. We often refer to our husbands, here in the states, as hubby. So I am assuming it is much like that.

Ok first on my chopping block…

Skinny Jeans- Ok so I understand on certain people these pants look fantastic, with the right shoes of course. But when the boys decided to start stealing them from there gfs and sisters and weraing them is when it went from ok to terrible. I don’t understand why boys wear them and even worse when they sag them past their asses and they top it off with the biggest shoes they can find, what the...?

And then there is…

“Rustic Style"- Why in the world do you want to wear pants that looks like they’ve been pre owned for centuries and never been washed. Why do I want pre made holes and wrinkles, what is that about? I was at a department store the other day and saw a pair of these for $195 USD. Why would you spend that on those? And why do parents spend that much money for their kids to look so grungy? So I can sell my pants that I have had for 10 years that are faded, ripped and dirty for like $100 USD? AWESOME!!!!

And finally…

“Emo"- Ok whoever thought that this was a cool style should be slapped for sure. Why is it cool for a guy to dress in the tightest and darkest clothes he could find then grow his hair out, dye it black with some neon stripe? Seriously I get that “emo” is short for emotional but it’s taking it to a whole new level when it promotes “cutting”. I am an emotional person but I never considered “cutting” a good thing. I feel so sorry for the girls of this generation, you can’t really tell the difference between the sexes now. And they now have to have uberly great gaydar but also emodar.
