Hello all you lovelies!

After a very long absence I am now back on the forum. The past few years have been incredibly difficult and I’m just on the other side of a bad few years now trying to flutter myself back up into happiness.

I’ve missed having my talks with you all, and I’m looking forward to catching up with you and meeting new members as well!

I have been following a blog on this topic and one that interested me was “Don’t believe everything you think” which for me ties into “feelings aren’t facts”!

For the past year or so, I have really been struggling with this… generally I am a very positive thinker, but I have had more distorted thoughts than I care to acknowledge…. my mind flip-flops from one train of thought to the complete opposite!!! And depending on my mood, both appear true (I know headbang )

Am I the only one

Is this pattern of thought common

Do you think this is ever a good idea?

Friends of ours who have been divorced for many years, re-married another and divorced started seeing each other again these past 11 months. They are seriously considering marrying again.

So many of their friends are dead against it…. predicting doom and gloom.

What you say…. would you ever consider remarrying your ex?

Some who disappear, we barely notice they’re gone.

Others, we miss - and wish they’d come back.

Who do you miss the most? What member (or members) would you love to see back in the community?

Double Masectomy….. Medical Choice

... wow I was surprised to read that Angelina Jolie had revealed that she had this done as a preventative measure. She was told that she had an 87% risk of breast cancer and 50% risk of ovarian cancer. Her chances of now developing breast cancer has dropped to 5$!

I think some of us would hesitate to take such drastic action for the wrong reasons in that we may feel it would diminish our femininity and yet in an article I read she said that she felt empowered.

I think it’s so important that one’s partner is 100% behind this type of decision… if not I think it could affect women making the right choices.

Any thoughts….

Breast pain/tenderness?

Hey,

Recently, over the last 3/4 months I’ve had a lot of tenderness of my breasts, it’s in the part under my nipples, and I’m not sure why exactly I’d be getting this pain. They seem to be swelling a lot, and I’ve gone up a cup size or so, depending on the swelling.

I’m 17, and got the contraceptive implant last September. I’m sexually active with my fiance, but I’ve done pregnancy tests and It’s been over a month since I had sex.

Could the implant be causing this tenderness? Or am I just simply still growing?

I just love this…. call me crazy, but it touched me in a way I cannot express…. gave me a lump in my throat I am saying to myself “for goodness sakes girl…. what is wrong with you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
