The styles now…

Ok first on my chopping block…

Skinny Jeans- Ok so I understand on certain people these pants look fantastic, with the right shoes of course. But when the boys decided to start stealing them from there gfs and sisters and weraing them is when it went from ok to terrible. I don’t understand why boys wear them and even worse when they sag them past their asses and they top it off with the biggest shoes they can find, what the...?

And then there is…

“Rustic Style"- Why in the world do you want to wear pants that looks like they’ve been pre owned for centuries and never been washed. Why do I want pre made holes and wrinkles, what is that about? I was at a department store the other day and saw a pair of these for $195 USD. Why would you spend that on those? And why do parents spend that much money for their kids to look so grungy? So I can sell my pants that I have had for 10 years that are faded, ripped and dirty for like $100 USD? AWESOME!!!!

And finally…

“Emo"- Ok whoever thought that this was a cool style should be slapped for sure. Why is it cool for a guy to dress in the tightest and darkest clothes he could find then grow his hair out, dye it black with some neon stripe? Seriously I get that “emo” is short for emotional but it’s taking it to a whole new level when it promotes “cutting”. I am an emotional person but I never considered “cutting” a good thing. I feel so sorry for the girls of this generation, you can’t really tell the difference between the sexes now. And they now have to have uberly great gaydar but also emodar.

The Oddest Accessory You Own

What is the strangest accessory that you own? Whether it be a mickey mouse watch or necklace portraying a man juggling chain saw in a nursery. My strangest is a gift from a little boy who gave me a necklace with a hanging gingerbread man...not something I really want to wear but I’ll please the kid sometime by wearing it when I see him.

Do you wear gold or silver jewelery?

Do you think it is ok to wear both at the same time or should it be strictly one or the other?

It seems Tesco have decided to introduce a new dress code policy banning nightwear worn instore.

Tesco insist on proper footwear and nigthware I found my link in the daily mail to keep souxi happy

Pyjama wearing customers are outraged and are calling Tesco snobbish while Tesco feel that nightwear can cause potential offense to other customers.

Now I live in an area were I frequently see women and teen girls shopping in their nightgowns; I think it’s amusing and I don’t understand it but I don’t find it offensive either. You do get the occasional shopper showing off a little to much but no worse that what you see from some of the otherwise appropriately dressed customers. In Fact the PJ wearers seem more covered up than anyone. I can see the logic in footwear I can just imagine Tesco getting sued over broken glass and a stubbed toe.

On the other hand its a terrible example to set to children, especial as I have seen some mothers drop of there kids at school without bothering to get dressed. What kind of message does that send to children about how bothered they should be about their school day.

It seems like it’s a lifestyle choice, one women complained that she is a single mum and simply doesnt have the time to have a cup of tea let alone all dolled up or dressed i presume. Funny I don’t remember my mum also single ever going out like that.

What do you think, has tesco gone over the top or are they right to ban? I dont think they are should have banned really.

I’ve been wondering for awhile about this fashion statement....what is the point of these teens and grown men wandering around with their pants around their knees, and their underwear showing, you see them walking with kinda of a shuffling swagger trying to hold these pants on,I said to my husband the other day after seeing a group of teens go by all shuffling along, those kids by the time they are in there 30’s are all going to need hip replacements.

Do any of you have tattoos? I have a small tattoo of a cat in my groin area - I put it there so nobody could see it apart from me (ummm and any partner I have). I didnt want it to be too visible, but then some of my friends tell me there was no point in getting one if it is all hidden away.

If you have tattoos, are they visible and what are they of? What made you get a tattoo?

Taking a compliment

It would seem us women are not very good at accepting compliments. An article I read recently said that whenever women recieved a compliment on their looks, they replied that the person doing the complimenting obviously needed glasses!

I must admit I’m guilty of this. If, (and it’s rare) that I get a compliment, I think to myself: “are you blind? I look awful. My hair is a mess, as usual, and my skin looks dreadfull, as usual”. I then spend the next 10 minutes putting myself down and pointing out all my other faults, (of which there are many ) see? I did it then.

The trouble is, if we do this kind of thing all the time, eventually people will stop bothering alltogether. What’s the point of saying someone looks nice, if your compliment is thrown back in your face all the time?

Do you do this kind of thing?

The right to defend your family

How far would you be prepared to go, in order to defend your family? Two thugs, stoned out of their heads on drugs and booze, broke into this law abiding mans home, and threatened to rape his wife and kill his family. He used the only weapon he had to hand which was a Samurai sword. In doing so he nearly severed one of the thugs ears. He has been cleared of all the charges.

How far would you go to defend your family? If a knife or cricket bat was the closest thing to hand, would you be prepared to use it to defend yourself and your family?

If the thug gets injured whilst breaking into your home, atempting to steal your stuff, and threatening your family, do you think you are justified in using any force necessary? Maybe a samurai sword was a bit excessive, but it was the only thing this man had to hand. He panicked and his only thought was for his family. What do you think?

self defence

Where is the justice for this baby?

The law in this country is just a joke. This evil sadistic monster shook his 5 week old daughter so hard her brain bled. Apparantly he lost his temper because she wouldn’t stop crying.

To make matters even worse, he tried to blame his other 3 year old daughter, saying she had pushed the baby off of a chair!! Not only he is a monster, but he’s spineless as well.

Yes I know what a baby constantly crying is like, I have 3 children and I’ve been there and I know how stressfull it can be. If at any time you feel that your baby’s crying is getting you to the point where you feel you may do it physical harm, then you put the baby down in it’s cot and walk away. Make a cup of tea and relax for 10 minutes.

His “sentence” is a pathetic joke. Where is the justice for this baby?

Baby shaken
