i think you need to go to the docs with this. my sister has always had migrains, over the counter medicines just dont hit the spot, go see your GP if you havent already!

Hi Bliss. Sorry to hear you suffer with these terrible migraines. The best person here to ask for advice about those is Dawny. I know she gets some shockers some times that are really debilitating for her.

I should go to your doctor as well and see if there is anything he or she can offer you. I,ve never suffered with these myself thankfully but my husband does occasionally and they have made him physically sick sometimes. Let us know how you get on.

Hopefully all of us that suffer from migraines, can learn from each other. Ill keep you all posted on any other things that might help. I know a few drops of peppermint oil diluted into naturel oil, can be helpful, just not good when you go out.

I have migrains quite frequently over a period of time then gone for another and the best painkiller I have been prescribed from my doctor is migramax, it may be worth asking about. I was also told to come of contraceptive whenever I got my headaches as this could trigger more serious symptoms.

Other than that I try to stay away from the caffeine and the sugar drink plenty of water too, well I know that is pretty common advice for migraine sufferers anyway.

sorry i’m not english but i understand what i can read.

few years ago doctors thought my daughter was suffering from migraine. I never had migraine,
so I’m curious… curious now as a mother of teenager (16 year old girl) and as a mother at the age of 40 and had some chemos 20 years ago.. I think i’m having some symptoms of pre- menopausal, but doctors here (where i live) don’t admit that…
