Also a newbie to this group. My name’s Alia and I’ve been a lurker for a while. I’m in my 40s but I think and feel like I’m in my twenties (except when the kids come running from school calling out Momma I want some milk and cookies!) I currently live in Manhattan but I’m a Phoenix gal originally. Hope to connect with some new and old friends here so just feel free to hit me up. :D

Is it as hot in Manhattan as it is here? We are currently having a heatwave in the UK. It might not be as hot as places like Australia, but to us it’s too hot. We just arn’t used to this kind of heat. I hate it.

If you need any advice or just want a good old gossip, (not that I’m admitting we gossip of course, ) this is the place to be.

welcome to the forum . I am sure you will fit right in It will be nice to have your point of view on our subjects . When did you move over to Manhattan? Its a pretty big move from Phoenix - Manhattan .

My parents live in Ohio, we’re going to visit them soon. I love going to the States .

I’m in Brooklyn so not far away from you at all! What was the reason for your move from Phoenix? How do you find the different climate? It’s a lot more humid here than in Phoenix, right?
