Ok so here is the thing I been off my birth control for over a year now and me and the fiance have been trying to conceive for like 4 months now and still not pregnant. We follow my ovulation and we have sex on everyday that I am ovulating. Can anyone help me figure out why it is that I have not gotten pregnant yet?!?!

Stop trying and just go with the flow!

It will happen when it’s meant to smile

Go see a doctor is you’re very concerned about anything though.

Seriously, 4 months is no time at all

Take it easy and relax more, and don’t just have sex because you’re ovulating - nothing can turn a bloke off faster than making him realise the real reason people have sex! LOL

Hi there

This is a subject that I’m an expert on, as it took 4 yrs for me to concieve my son - who is now 3 yrs old grin

Firstly, 4 months is no time at all, the GP won’t even look into it unless you’ve been trying for around 12 months.  You need to relax, only having sex when your ovulating will make it seem mechanical, and takes all the fun out of love making, we don’t just make love to get pregnant, we make love to feel close to our partner.  Secondly, are you overweight at all? I lost 1 1/2 stone as I was overweight, this can have an impact when your trying to concieve, so make sure your fit and healthy. Try and put it to the back of your mind, worrying about not gettin pregnant will actually make things worse, your body has to be physically and mentally well. How long have you been taking contraception, and what kind? I was having the injection every 12 weeks, and it took 18 months before my period came back, so depending on what contraception you were using, will depend on how long it takes for your body to adjust back to normal.  I am sure it will happen, just relax and try and not think about it, best of luck to you both xxx

See your Dr. I had a miscarriage soon after I got married then couldnt concieve, I had treatment for blocked fallopian tubes ,but it still took a time to concieve, I was married 5 & 1/2 years when our first son was born. Similar second time, miscarriage then unable to concieve ,9yrs,3 mths after our 1st son was born our 2nd son arrived.Sometimes a couple are not compatable for some reason & it takes a while ,others concieve too easy. Try to tell yourself you will not have a child & fill your life with something else & it will suddenly happen
