The law in this country is just a joke. This evil sadistic monster shook his 5 week old daughter so hard her brain bled. Apparantly he lost his temper because she wouldn’t stop crying.

To make matters even worse, he tried to blame his other 3 year old daughter, saying she had pushed the baby off of a chair!! Not only he is a monster, but he’s spineless as well.

Yes I know what a baby constantly crying is like, I have 3 children and I’ve been there and I know how stressfull it can be. If at any time you feel that your baby’s crying is getting you to the point where you feel you may do it physical harm, then you put the baby down in it’s cot and walk away. Make a cup of tea and relax for 10 minutes.

His “sentence” is a pathetic joke. Where is the justice for this baby?

What a coward I remember reading about this in the papers and your right Souxi the justice system is a joke especialy as driving crime and burglary seems to get a harsher sentence almost like saying property and money is worth more than a childs life.

My advice to anyone stressed out my a baby crying - something that can break the toughest of ppl - is put the baby down safe for a while and take some time out to calm down.

poor baby

Ok ...I think he should have gone to prison, what he did was GBH.. simple..

However in general its very easy to brand people monsters and send them to prison but a crying baby is a terrible thing it leaves you feeling powerless, inadequate and so so frustrated its unbeliveable..
Lack of sleep can cause serious errors of judgement and tempers to snap when normaly they wouldnt..

As for getting help well its easier said than done isnt it?
My eldest has ADHD and didnt sleep for nearly 3 years except for half hour cat naps here and there.. Very early on I asked my health visitor for help and she said he would most likely grow out of it by the time he was 5…
Neighbours would make comments like ‘oh I heard the little one keeping you awake last night’ in other words your baby kept us awake..
I put him in a buggy next to the bed and slept (HA HA) with a leg warmer on my arm to stop it freezing, so I could rock the buggy everytime he woke without having to keep getting up..

My mother would sometimes take him for a weekend just so that OH and I could catch up on sleep..finding a babysitter was nigh impossible after one evening they quit..

The stress was almost intolerable.. One day after having virtually no sleep for days I was trying to cook, baby was screaming and I lost concerntration taking an oven dish out of the oven with my bare hands…

Another time when I was crying from tierdness I put the baby in his maxi cosi into the downstairs bathroom I called OH at work and said ‘ If you dont come home in 5 mins Im going to flush your son down the loo’
OH did all he could to help but he was working a manual job and doing 40+ hours a week to support us.. I couldnt expect him to stay up at night as well.

So there you are day after day with that screaming and whining boring into your brain like a dentists drill no way out no sleep no rest nowhere to run.....yes tempers fray and some people snap ..
Asking for help is the easy part getting it is damn near impossible.

Once again I think this man should have gone to prison for GBH but know what its like before condemming…

There is nothing worse than a fussy baby, my son was colicky and also didn’t sleep, I wandered around for 3 years like a zombie.Sleep Deprivation was used as a form of torture, and it worked.
