After a long time trying, and 6 boys later, this lady has finally got the little girl she always wanted. Her brothers seem delighted with their new sister and mum has finally got the little girl she always wanted.

a girl at last

I wonder though what she would have done if this baby had been another boy. When would she have stopped trying? I understand her desire for a daughter.  I remember at my scan when the doc told me I was having a girl I actually cried.

I’m not sure I would have kept trying for as long as she has though, but each person is different. I wish them all the best. They look a very happy little family.

If i did want children, i must admit id prefer to have a girl too, maybe its to do with me not being very maternal, y’know where upon a very broody woman will say “i dont care about the sex , i just want to have a baby”, i think i would find it easier to relate to a girl, and do girlie things etc, a boy, i would find that a whole different mindset. But to have THAT many kids in the hope that one may be a girl is ridiculous, totally!.
