Hello all!

My twins are almost five months old now, and I’ve slowly learned that it isn’t always easy to get them packed up to make a trip to the store.

The other day, it took me an hour to put everything I needed into the diaper bag and get the kids into their car seats. By the time I got there, I had no clue why I decided to go to that store because I forgot what I needed to buy. I ended up walking out without buying anything.

Did anyone else have this much trouble when your kids were babies? I’d imagine that there doesn’t have to be two of them to make it difficult.

It’s normal, and I remember doing something very similar when my children were babies.  Why not have the changing bag already to go.  Have travel sized bottles and packets of wipes, you can make your own up using small plastic bottles and boxes, so you don’t have to have two of everything, and of course nappies!

As far as remembering is concerned, why not have a white board in the kitchen for jotting things down when you think about them, and before you got out, transfer what you need onto a list.  Means you don’t have to worry about remembering stuff!

I thought it was just me or maybe old age but I noticed this forgetfulness had set in when my first child was born and Ive gone downhill ever since!

I also used to have a travel bag packed and ready to go at any minute.. I had mini everythings in it..
I have become a list maker because I know if I don’t write it down it will be forgotten before I get to the car let alone the shop..

I think every mum goes through this stage ..at least you only forgot the shopping its not like you left the babies and forgot to bring them home! It happens really it does,…

Don’t worry it does get easier...eventually.
