I do loads fo shopping on the internet - loads of different sites.

I like being able to shop around and get the best price for things. Also, I don’t find it easy to go out shopping with 3 children so it’s much easier for me.

For whatever reason- I just can’t bring myself to shop online. I think its just not real enough for me so I can’t remember if I spent money or not. When I buy something at the store I have to pull out the card and swipe it and all- this is easier for me to recall than buying things online. When I have shopped online- I’ve always spent more than I meant to…

But I’m really just shopping for me- I think if I had kids to wrangle with me through the mall- I would probably feel differently!

The other good thing about shopping online - sometimes I forget something is due, then I get a nice surprise when the postman drops stuff off and I get parcels to open LOL

I like to shop online for certain things but will always get clothes from shops. You just cant tell if something will be right without trying it on!

Totally agree: I buy books, DVDs etc online because you can get some fantastic bargains, but I always like to try on clothes before I buy them.

I will buy certain things on amazon like books, CD,S and games but when it come to clothes I like to try things before I buy. I alway buy my going out clothes on the day or possibly the day before so they wouldn’t arrive in time if i bought them online.

I wont buy groceries either, I tried it once but everything was too close to the use buy date and I like to dig around at the back of the shelf to get the best dates.

I shop a lot online. I shop for clothes with my club book, odd items of furniture eg bookcases with either Argos or tescodirect. This Christmas I have bought DVDs and books from amazon without any problems, touch wood!!. I would say however you have to be disciplined and keep a record of card purchases whether it be debit or credit card, then it won’t come as a nasty shock when the statement arrives.
Apart from shopping has anyone else booked holidays online?

Yes Marjorcagirl, I have booked flights, accommodation and car hire all online without any problems.

The airline even allows you to choose where you want to sit and everything smile

sometimes the hotel you are booking has better deals along with deals for doing things around town if you phone them directly.  i have purchased online for collectables and lingerie, i like to shop on my adult store for discreet shopping and shipping.

I love it to shop online. If you know what you want it’s a good way to save time - just now before Christmas. I don’t like overfilled shops, pushing and shoving, long lines at cash point and dressing room. It’s so much easier. And the best thing about it is home delivery. A cheer for all postmen.  excaim

And a cheer for my mum, who knows the postman better than me, because he always rings at her door.  kiss

Martin, we need an applause-smiley.....  wink

I’m like you ripcurl, it is a boon at Christmas time and saves so much festive shoving and pushing in the shops!  Our postie seems to know our daily routine better than us, and is so friendly.

Books again this year I think, so easy to wrap!!
