Now that it is getting colder I am starting to experience the terrible winter itch. I get really dry skin during the winter time and have to slather myself with cream all the time just to stop my skin flaking off and so I dont drive myself crazy scratching all the time.

Does anyone else suffer from dry skin especially in the winter time? What do you do to relieve it?

I’m the opposite - I have really oily skin and actually use a product (benzoyl peroxide) to dry it out, to control my acne - although I do still moisturise after that has been absorbed.

I get really bad chapped lips at this time of year though. For which I use vaseline lip balm with aloe vera.

The Body Shop’s hemp-based hand cream is ace for dry hands.

I have very dry skin on my hands, arms and legs. I swear by Vasleline intensive care lotion. I slather it on. Keeps my hands really soft.
