Looking for something else I stumbled across these adverts from the 1950’s…

Could you imagine trying to get these past the censors today..or what would happen if they did???

Especially the last one..OMG there would be riots!

The ads are kind of funny to see what they got away with, they couldn’t have had much in the way of sensoring back then. Something else I noticed too which is quite different than today, the women are actually wearing clothes.

I love vintage ads like these! The fashion, the slangs they used. So neat to see it change throughout the years.

Those are very degrading.  Some of the older adds are fun and interesting, but those are way to negative.

Yeah they are nice, I have loads of metal signs like this, the one’s above are mainly on magnets and cards.
