“Sweet Sixteen”... not too much emphasis on the ‘sweet” part lol - you know the normal rebellion stuff; having crushes on different boys every week, sneaking out through the bedroom window when my parents thought I was safely tucked in bed, stealing dad’s car keys, smoking on the quiet, wearing make-up and mini skirts that were a definite “no-no”
On a serious note, I’d choose 30 - turning thirty was a pivitol time in my life… entering a new season - letting go of bad habits, embracing new interests, set up for financial, emotional, mental stability. In “my little way”, I felt that I had become a woman of substance - a woman of positive influence and a woman of meaning.
