My mother-in-law admitted she did stupid things when she was pregnant with my husband. Now he has multiple deficits. Can anyone relate?

I can’t myself, but do check out acherrystone’s link. How does your family cope with your husband having FASD? It mustn’t be easy.

It never was easy. No one, including myself, caught on about his strangeness until recently. I found out from a mini health segment on our local news about the adult profile of FASD. It was an eye-opener that this is what we’ve been dealing with for 18+ years. Gained much perspective, so I’m coping better than before

It’s always easier when you know what you’re battling. Give the foe a name and all that smile
