Both beyond WOW and yikes at the same time. Still don’t get those peoples comments regarding children and disabilities. I for one because I’m born a speech impairment.ā€‹ ā€‹
I mean its gotten better over time, but still is there. By the way this isn’t my 1st time and/or commenting on here. But somehow none of my comments on gone through because of the moderation. In which I do get, but then also don’t get.

Jessica,  one of my cousins was born deaf and mute. His mother, my uncle’s wife, had German measles when she was pregnant with him. Her doctor advised her to get an abortion but my grandparents told my aunt ( she and her husband were separated) that they would raise my cousin. So they did, he went to Gallaudet college and graduated with a Language and Human Right major. He is now 46, lives in his own apt in NY, has been working since graduation and is doing fine.

I think we all depend on our will, the stronger it is, the better it will serve us.

Annelee,

WOW and good for both of the parties involved here.  In which I really prefer to see this happening as opposed to following orders of the doctor.
