There are just three of us for Xmas dinner, so instead of slaving away in the hot kitchen its easy options this year
    frozen turkey
    frozen roast potatoes
    ditto broccoli
    ditto cauliflower
    ditto honeyed parsnips
    but fresh sprouts!!
    bought xmas pud
    tinned custard.
    frozen cheescake
    mincepies made with jusroll pastry.

Now how idle is that? We will have cheese and biscuits, plus,
    red wine
    white wine
    port
    brandy

    bring it on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought some of my dinner stuff the other day:

    Turkey joint (now frozen)
    Kilted sausages
Roast Potatoes (frozen ones taste better than mine lol)
    croquettes

Will buy fresh veg closer to the day

Still haven’t decided what dessert we will have, and must remember the cheese and biscuits selection – thanks for reminding me MG 🙂

We’re having a family do at my Mum’s this year. There’ll be 40 all up cause some can’t come. This is just my mum and siblings with theirs and my offspring.

Cold ham and chickens with salads for lunch (It’ll be hot here in Aus, so need to stay as cool as possible)
Turkey and all the trimmings for dinner.

With Mum’s specialty fruit mince pies and xmas pudding for desert.

We haven’t had a xmas like this in a very long time so it should be a good one and I’m so looking forward to it!!!!
