• You might try a classified add for someone who’d like to experience the same kind of journey but act as your companion in the trip as well. I’m sure there are people out there who just need companionship also without having to be paid.

Your dream isn’t too big. Just have to think outside the box.

    Good luck!

  • Goodness what advice we have. Are we still in the stone age? What happened to equality and women’s rights? Seriously. Jen has the right idea. If a guy doesn’t respect you exactly how you are then you don’t need him. However, you do need to stop with the jealousy thing. You either trust a man or you leave the man. You can not build a healthy…[Read more]

I’m a fan of thigh highs so I have a garter belt. 🙂 I don’t dress up as often as I used to. Now taken, it seems like dates are a thing of the past.

Sad to hear that bunny. My own father wasn’t much of a part of my life. Celebrate yourself for father’s day. 🙂

Since this post isn’t too terribly old I think I’ll add to it. I have no fascinating career. I’m a mom mostly (teen and tween daughters). I have a little farm that I use to contribute to some of our groceries. I am slowly but surely working towards a MA, I want to work with troubled youth. To make ends meet I take care of 3 elderly folk through…[Read more]

  • First there is a huge difference between being honest and being abusive, although sometimes it sounds the same. If he’s refusing to be intimate with you because of your weight he’s basically blackmailing your emotions, he’s withholding love. That is NOT ok. Until he can respect you, you need to move out if it’s his place or tell him to move out if…[Read more]

  • What are you doing for the dad in your life or your kids dad?

I ordered live lobster, clams and oysters from Maine (I’m in Oregon so we don’t do live lobster here). The lobster will get a basic boil, the clams will get steamed in white wine and the oysters will get smoked on the grill served up with bacon wrapped asparagus, small red potatoes and…[Read more]

  • Unfortunately for me, my upstairs neighbor didn’t have those same regards. From about 9:30 until about midnight he seemed very active. lol He was a large man though so I think that was half the problem.

  • Oh I love outdoor cooking! And it’s not just for the protein. I have a gas grill and a charcoal smoker and if the weather is above 65 you can bet I’m making at least dinner on one or the other. I also make a point of smoking up a roast, chicken or turkey for lunch meat during the week and I smoke up some fresh homemade bacon once or twice a month…[Read more]

  • Oh goodness yes! I take care of an elderly mom, aunt and a friend of the family. I do a lot of their cooking so I go to visit a couple of times a week. However I have learned how to get to their best interest. With my mom I need to invite her to help me with a project. Having a little farm that I do and I’m slowly updating/dressing up my home I’ll…[Read more]

  • Thanks for the education. I didn’t realize it was that easy. I’ve never been anywhere but the US unless you count the temporary job in Quebec for a team of US Hunter/jumpers. Back then (late 90’s) you didn’t even need a passport to get into Canada.

  • That’s the truth Rhonda. I wonder if anyone here has had to do that. Get a Visa or however that works. I’m curious how easy/difficult that process is.

I love Carl Jung, have read a lot of his books and followed his psychological style. His work on dreams and symbols is some of the most fascinating imho. 🙂

  • You said it perfectly Mamie. To be treated like a criminal because you just want a shot at being part of a better country. They might be here illegally but it doesn’t necessarily make them criminals. Racism runs deep in America and it’s sad.

Yeah I get that. It can feel very personal getting an eye exam because you’re so close to the Dr and the eye contact almost makes you feel he can read your thoughts.
