  • I live in a small town so it’s not really one or the other. There’s really nothing here (the biggest thing we have is a Walmart and then tons of fast food), but all the houses are packed together. (population 10,000.) I enjoy the nearby bigger city and the environment of it all. But then even larger places such as Little Rock (capital of Arkansas…[Read more]

Welcome! Glad to have you here!!

  • I’m all about doing the things that scare you, like speaking in front of people, roller coasters and things of that nature. However, my one true fear would be death and what comes after.

  • For an author to leave such a mark on a generation with her books that it’ll be well worth the read. I hope that when I find the chance to read them that I have half the passion for them as you! 🙂

  • My favorites are romance novels, like those by Nicholas Sparks. I’m currently reading The Longest Ride by him.

I have the Harry Potter series but have never actually read them. I feel like it’s so inground into my generation that it is something that I should try to read at least once. I also have several classics on my shelf that I plan to r…[Read more]

I recently made this for something else, but it’s an easy way to show my fur babies. Mitzy was my first dog, she and T-Bone are both red Dachshunds. (T-Bone is now much older, blind, deaf, ect.) Elli is a black/tan Dachshund.  Cutter is a dapple Dachshund. Maggie was my baby girl and she was a piebald (tri-color) wired hair Dachshund. Lastly, the…[Read more]

  • Maybe the site you were on was not a fake site but instead full of fake people. Many people hide behind their computer screen and will pretend to be someone they are not. Sometimes there’s really no way to tell it’s real or a fake, you just have to trust your gut and be very cautious.

  • I used to have what I thought were awful cramps but it turned out to be cysts on my ovaries and would also cause irregular periods. But even the stress from thinking you were pregnant can cause your period to be “missing.” Factors like stress, weight, medications, and hormone changes can all affect your period.

I mostly wear a lot of different necklaces and earrings to go with what I’m wearing and I may have accessive amounts of jewelry when it comes to bracelets, necklaces, anklets, rings, and earrings. But my favorite pieces are my sets of simple cubic zirconia earrings (I have 3 holes in one earlobe and 2 in the other), the replica of my baby ring,…[Read more]

  • Lakey101, because my actual name is Laken and in school my nickname among friends was Lakey. Even to this day, I’ve had coworkers and other people call me Lakey without knowing it was my nickname. The 101 because I’ve used the same username on the internet for many years before and just “Lakey” was never available.

Stress can cause an irregular period and so can different medications. In my experience having a lower weight can cause very irregular periods. Even missing a day of birth control can cause you to miss a period. There are so many different things that could cause that.

-People who lay their money on the counter at a store instead of handing it to the cashier. (That comes from my experience working retail.)

-People who follow too closely behind while driving. I will go under the speed limit for these people.

  • Maybe it’s one of those things where practice makes perfect, which just means I’ll need more wine. lol

  • This is the one I have.

  • Are there any tips for getting the cork out of the bottle? The other evening I felt like I really deserved more than the one glass after the struggle I went through to get the bottle open. I completely screw in the corkscrew and then twist it back and forth while pulling. Is there an easier method?

  • I’ve yet to find my special someone, but I do have some advice for you. 🙂

I don’t think there’s an age limit when it comes to finding the one for you. Some people aren’t as lucky to find them so young and don’t find them until their 50’s. How people handle the bad times are a perfect look at their character and your situation tells you that you…[Read more]

  • I have a little electric keyboard and all my old lesson books. So maybe one day I can try to re-teach myself. I’m sure you understand, there’s such a wonderful feeling that comes with playing.
