I agree with KitKatKitty. You have to let your dad deal with his own mistakes in life now. He is a grown man and making decisions that lead to failure from time to time even in relationships happen. He just may have to learn this multiple times before it really sinks in for him, but he is the one that is going to have to learn it on his own.

Aah Vodka. 🙂  Well it is hump day and all is well at school today. The weather here on Long Island is approaching 50 degrees, “Oh a heat wave”. I hope all you lovely ladies have a wonderful Wednesday.

    That sounds great.

Thank You all for you replies and I have decided to go out to dinner with him as a dinner date and nothing more at this time. He agreed to that as he really wants to get to know me more and see how it goes. We shall see how it goes as two English teachers get together and probably will discuss poetry and books. 🙂

There is a married couple that works in my High School. One of the History Teachers and a Secretary in the office are married and both employed at the school I work. I do think it would be important though to keep a professional relationship in the work place regardless if the date works out or not.

  • So what is your stance on this? Today after school let out one of my fellow co-workers from the English Department asked me if I would like to go out to dinner with him on Saturday. I have known him since I started the job a few years ago and he has always been a gentlemen and is very attractive. I told him I would have to see if I could get out…[Read more]

  • I suppose the more violent/destructive war type games appeal to the males over females. Games like ‘Candy Crush’ would appeal more to women I would suspect.

Fleece lined tights are a very smart thing when you are in a very cold climate.

  • I highly doubt women are discouraged from playing video games. There are many female gamers out there.

  •
so I’ve asked this question before. Do you girls feel warmer in a long woolen skirt or pants?
I do not own a long woolen skirt, but if I strong breeze would catch under the skirt I would feel that could get quit chilly under there. As for pants there would be no problem with that. When out I do where shorter skirts w…[Read more]

I wouldn’t consider yourself a music snob. I would say you have a good ear for quality music.

  • If you could go back in time and give advice to your teenage self what one bit of advice from your more mature self would you give yourself now?

For me it would be not to follow others all the time and to be much more confident with my decisions.

Morning Ladies and back to work Monday. It is quite chilly here on Long Island as it is only in the 30’s at the moment.  I hope everyone has a wonderful day.

  •
I’m constantly listening to music! My tastes run from the Eagles & Rick Springfield to George Strait & Dwight Yoakum. Classic 70s rock to most country stuff. • I just got home from my Moms and now I am relaxing for the evening listening to The Go-Go’s “Beauty And The Beat” album from 1981. Good stuff.
